How to Turn Editorial Images into Video Content in Caimera

Transforming static editorial images into professional-grade video content is now seamless. Whether you are looking to breathe life into a previous project or create something entirely new, this guide walks you through the streamlined process of converting your images into engaging videos using our integrated tools.

Step 1: Navigate to the** Editorial Image Tool** directly from your home page to begin the process.

Step 1: Click on the Editorial Image Tool on home page.

Step 2: Go to the History section in the right panel, scroll through your previous work, and select the specific image you wish to animate.

Step 3: Once you've selected an image, click the Generate Video from this Image button located in the left panel.

Step 4: Your image will now appear as the "hero" frame. Enter your instructions in the prompt box, including details for camera angles, clip descriptions, or a specific script to guide the Video.

Step 5: The platform will transition to the Storyboard Setup, where it automatically generates a sequence of frames based on your instructions.

Step 6: Once the storyboard is generated you'll be able to see the setup clip by clip. If a specific frame doesn't align with your vision, click the Regenerate (arrow) icon on that frame to create a new version. You can also edit the prompt on any individual clip directly in the storyboard, so you can adjust a single shot without rebuilding the whole storyboard.

Step 7: Once you are satisfied with the storyboard layout, click Accept and then select Generate Video. The exact credit cost is shown before you generate, and depends on the model, clip duration and whether audio is enabled.

Step 8: You will be redirected to the Video Generation tool, where you can watch the progress as your video is built clip-by-clip. If any clip fails along the way, the credits for that clip are refunded automatically.

Step 9: Once generation is complete, click Play in the center of the screen. You can now use the video editor and its tools to add text, insert logos, or delete specific clips to perfect the flow.

Step 10: After finalizing your edits, click the Download button in the top-right corner to save the high-resolution video file to your device.

The Download button opens a small options popover with an Add AI disclosure watermark option, which bakes a discreet text label into the MP4 to mark the video as AI-generated, as required by the EU AI Act. The default wording is "AI Generated/Synthetic Person" and it's fully editable.
