How to Use the Upscale Feature in the Editorial Images Tool

Upscaling is the last step in the image generation process, after applying products, editing or resizing layers. The upscaler adds more detail to the image and increases the image resolution.

Caimera now offers three upscalers: Fluid (free on paid plans, outputs at 4K), Crystal (up to 14K) and SeedVR (up to ~9.6K). Each has its own controls, so this page has been replaced by a single, complete guide:

Quick steps

Click Upscale on the left side toolbar.

Navigate and click on Upscale Icon

Pick an upscaler from the dropdown and adjust its settings (Image Similarity / Creativity, Upscale By, Face Enhancement).
Click Apply. Your upscaled layer appears on top of all the layers in the Layers section on the right.

Click Apply to Upscale your Images

Tip: You can upscale an image multiple times. Upscaling by 2x twice, rather than 4x once, preserves image similarity.
