How to Fine-Tune Frames and Prompts for Specific Video Clips

Once your video is generated, you have all your clips in place, Caimera lets you make targeted edits to individual clips: swap the start or end frame, add a last-frame anchor, or rewrite the motion prompt for a single segment. Everything else in your video stays untouched.

đź’ˇ Why this matters: Clip-level editing saves credits and time by letting you perfect specific moments: motion, lighting, framing, all without rebuilding the entire video.

How to Change Frames in a Clip

If a generated clip doesn't match your visual direction, replace the start or end frame to steer the AI toward a new reference.

Step 1: To begin, navigate to the timeline at the bottom of your screen. Click on any specific clip to reveal the specialized editing panel on the left side of the tool.

Step 1: Select a clip from the timeline to open the edit panel.

Step 2: In the left-hand panel, you will find your current Start Frame displayed alongside the Last Frame button. To clear the current visual, click the 'X' (cross) button on the Start Frame to remove it.

Step 2: Locate the Start Frame and Last Frame section.

Step 3: Once removed, you will see empty slots for the Start Frame and Last Frame.

Step 3: Click the “X” on the Start Frame to remove it.

Step 4: Now you can simply drag and drop your new images into either slot to set the new visual direction for that clip.

Step 4: Drag and drop new images into the frame slots.

Once you have finalized your changes, click the Regenerate Clip button at the bottom of the panel to apply your updates. The AI will then re-generate the segment, utilizing your updated images as the new start and last frames for that specific clip.

Step 5: Click “Regenerate Clip” to apply changes.

How to Upload a Last frame

Anchoring a clip to a specific last frame is ideal for ending a sequence on a product shot, a logo, or a key brand image, giving you a clean, deliberate close to any scene.

Step 2: Locate the Start Frame and Last Frame section.

Step 3: Click the Last Frame button (located next to your start frame).

Step 4: Simply drag and drop your chosen image into the empty slot. The tool will then use this as the final anchor, ensuring the motion of that specific clip transitions seamlessly into your selected frame.

Step 3: Click on the “Last Frame” button and drop your image into the Last Frame slot.

Once you have finalized your changes, click the Regenerate Clip button at the bottom of the panel to apply your updates. The AI will then re-generate that specific segment, using your newly added image as the final frame of the sequence.

Step 4: Click “Regenerate Clip” to update the clip.

How to Add or Change a Video Prompt in a Clip

Modifying the prompt for a single clip lets you fine-tune motion, pacing or lighting for that specific segment without affecting the rest of your video.

Step 1: To begin, navigate to the timeline at the bottom of your screen. Click on any specific clip to reveal the specialized editing panel on the left side of the tool.

Step 1: Select a clip from the timeline to open the edit panel.

💡 Prompting tip: Keep descriptions short and movement-focused. Don't restate what's already visible in your images — instead use targeted motion keywords like "slow motion," "still camera," or "model walking." For more examples, see Prompting on Move: How to Use Video Instructions.

Step 2: Find the “Video Prompt” text box and edit the prompt with your desired motion.

Click Regenerate Clip to apply the updated prompt to that specific clip only.
