How to Add Brand Assets to your Video Generations in Caimera
📝 What Is Brand Canvas?
Brand Canvas is Caimera's built-in overlay suite for adding elements like logos and text styling. In digital storytelling, your brand identity is your most valuable asset.
Adding a custom logo or watermark to your video content establishes instant brand recognition, builds trust with your audience, and ensures your content remains uniquely yours, no matter where it is shared across the web.
It lets you finalize on-brand visuals without leaving the platform.
Our built-in tools allow you to seamlessly overlay your brand assets directly onto your generated videos in just a few clicks. You can add, position, resize, and control how long your logo appears—no external video editor required. Here is how easy it is to keep your content professional and completely on-brand.
What You Need Before You Start
- A video you’ve generated in Caimera's Video tool
- At least one brand added to your workspace through the Editor tool. If you have not added a brand yet, see [How to Add a Brand to Your Workspace] (link to existing article).
- A logo file (PNG or JPG format with transparent background recommended; maximum file size is 5 MB).
Getting Started
Step 1: Navigate to the Video tool from the home page.

Step 2: In the History panel, click on the video you want to edit.

Step 3: Click Overlay Brand Logo button in the left toolbar to open the brand assets panel.

Step 4: Use the Brand Asset Filter dropdown to select the brand whose logo you want to use.

Step 5: Select the brand you want, and its logo will appear as an icon in the panel.

Step 6: Choose an existing logo that Caimera automatically extracted from that brand's website, or click Upload Logo to add a custom watermark. Uploaded logos are saved to your brand assets for future use.

Step 7: Click the logo icon you want in the brand assets panel. It will appear on your video clip for placement.

How to Position and Resize Your Logo
- Move: Click and drag the logo on the video preview to reposition it.
- Resize: Drag the corner handles to make the logo larger or smaller.

Control When the Logo Appears In Your Videos
In the timeline at the bottom of the screen:
- Extend duration: Drag the right edge of the brand overlay clip outward.
- Shorten duration: Drag the right edge inward.
- Move in time: Drag the entire clip left or right along the timeline.
Use the red scrubber line to preview how the logo timing looks against your video before exporting.

How to Duplicate or Remove a Logo Overlay
Right-click the brand overlay clip in the timeline:
- Select ‘Duplicate’ to create an exact copy with the same position and size

- Select Delete to remove it.

Preview and Download
Before exporting, use the scrubber (the red line) on the clips bar to preview your logo timing against the video.

Once everything looks right, click Download in the top-right corner to save your final video.

Adding brand assets like logos to your videos helps reinforce your visual identity and maintain consistency across your content. Try organizing your brand assets to speed up future editing and make every video on-brand and polished.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I add a logo to any video in Caimera?
You can only add logos to videos in the Video (Move) tool's History section. You cannot add logos during the initial generation step; this is done in post-generation editing.
- What logo file types does Caimera accept?
PNG files with transparent backgrounds work best. JPG files are accepted but will show a white box behind the logo.
- Can I use the same logo on multiple videos?
Yes. Once uploaded, a logo is saved to your brand assets folder and can be reused on any video in that workspace.
- Why don't I see any logos in the brand assets panel?
Either no brand has been added to your workspace, or the brand was added but Caimera could not detect a logo on the website. Upload a custom logo manually.
- Can I adjust logo opacity or add a fade effect?
Currently, Caimera does not support opacity sliders or fade transitions for brand overlays. The logo appears at full opacity for the full duration of the overlay clip.
- Will the logo appear on the original video or only the downloaded version?
The logo is only burned into the downloaded video. The original generation in History remains unchanged.
