How to Use the Automation Agent in Caimera
Think of the Automation Agent as your always-on marketing creator. Just make a few selections, and it takes care of the rest from creating and directing your content to sharing it via email or publishing it directly with you via email or publishing it directly to social media.
Set up your workflow once, choose how often you want content created, and let Caimera deliver a daily dose of fresh content for your brand. You can review and approve everything before it goes live, with support for Instagram and Pinterest, and TikTok coming soon.
It’s your AI marketing team, all in one, working in the background so you can stay consistent without having to create content every day.
What is the Automation Agent?
Automation Agent is a scheduled content engine in Caimera. Instead of opening the editor every time you need a new post, you create one automation and let it run in the background:
- Learns from your brand — it studies your social media profile and the latest social trends to figure out what content to generate next.
- Real trend discovery, not just keywords — it fans out from your product angles to find breakout searches you might not have thought of, checks the web when a trend is unfamiliar, and weighs seasonality using today's date, so ideas stay current.
- Cadence you control — run it daily, every few days, or weekly.
- A complete drop, delivered — every run lands in your inbox as a finished package: image, caption, and hashtags, ready to post.
- One agent per line — run as many automations as you need, one per product line, channel, or campaign.
- Nothing posts itself — every drop is a review email. You decide what actually goes live.
How It Works?
Every automation follows the same three-part loop:
01 — Research. The agent studies trends and social cues to find your next idea.
02 — Generate. It creates the images and delivers them straight to your inbox.
03 — Review. You edit, approve, and post the images directly from your inbox.
Automation Settings Explained
When you set up an automation, you'll tune a few creative dials:
Creativity Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
Conservative | Closely follows patterns from your top-performing posts |
Balanced | Mixes proven patterns with current trends (about 50/50) |
Experimental | Leads with current trends and bold, novel concepts |

You'll also set an Aspect Ratio (Square for IG Feed/Pinterest, Portrait for IG Feed, Standard Pin for Pinterest, or Vertical for Stories/Reels/TikTok), an optional Style Preference (a free-text note on tone, wardrobe, or mood you want every drop to follow), and Variations Per Run (how many images the agent generates each time it runs).

How to Create an Automation
Step 1: Open the Automations Agent Tool. From your Home dashboard, go to the Marketing column and click Automations.

Step 2: Start a new automation. On the Automations page, click Create Automation (or + New Automation in the top-right corner).

Step 3: Choose your platform and product. Select where your content is intended for — None (Email Only), Instagram, or Pinterest (TikTok is coming soon) — then use the Product field to select up to a few products to feature. If you pick more than one, choose whether they rotate Sequentially or Randomly across runs. Click Continue.

Step 4: Dial in your creative settings. Set your Creativity Mode, Aspect Ratio, an optional Style Preference, and how many Variations you want per run. Click Continue.

Step 5: Name it, schedule it, and launch. Give the automation a name, pick a Frequency (Daily, every few days, or Weekly) and a Time, and choose who should receive the review email. Check the Summary panel for a quick recap and its estimated credit cost, then click Start Automation.

Step 6: Manage your automation anytime. Back on the Automations page, your new automation appears as a card with its schedule and next run date. Use the toggle to pause or resume it, and the ··· menu to run it immediately or delete it.

Set up your automation once, choose your products, creative preferences, and schedule, and let Caimera handle the content creation in the background. Each drop comes to your inbox for review, so you stay in control of what gets published.
FAQs
- How much does each run cost?
Each image variation costs 4 credits based on your selected settings (displayed in the Summary panel before launching).
- Does the Automation Agent post directly to Instagram or Pinterest?
No. Every run is delivered to your inbox as a review email with the image, caption, and hashtags ready to go. Nothing publishes automatically — you choose what to post and when.
- Can I run more than one automation at a time?
Yes. Set up as many as you need — one per product line, channel, or campaign — each with its own schedule and settings.
- What if I want to pause or stop an automation?
Open the Automations page and use the toggle on the automation's card to pause or resume it at any time, or use the ··· menu to delete it.
- Can I trigger a run outside its schedule?
Yes, open the ··· menu on any automation card and select Test run now to generate a drop immediately, without waiting for the next scheduled time.
- Can I set up an automation from a chat instead of the Automations page?
Yes. When you land on a creative direction you love while chatting with the Campaign Ideas agent, it can offer to turn that direction into an automation for you — same inbox delivery, same control over cadence.
- What time zone are schedules shown in?
Times are shown in your account's local time zone. If an automation misses its scheduled run, it starts the next day instead.
