Add images and text: Image, Batch Input and Prompt nodes

Every workflow starts with an input. Caimera has three input nodes: Image for one fixed image, Batch Input for many images supplied when you run, and Prompt for text you want to reuse. This guide explains when to use each and how to add images.

Which input should I use?

Node

What it holds

Use it for

Image

A single input image

Something that stays the same on every run, such as a model, a pose reference, a background or a print swatch

Batch Input

Images supplied at run time

The products you want to process. The workflow runs once for each image.

Prompt

A reusable text prompt

Instructions you want several nodes to share

Input Options

Image node

The Image node holds one image that's used every time the workflow runs. Add it from the node menu under Input, then add your image. [CONFIRM: the upload options on the Image node] To bring an image you've already made in Caimera onto the canvas, use Add from Library in the left toolbar.

Batch Input node

A Batch Input node holds the set of images you want to process. When you choose Batch Run (from the arrow next to Run All), the workflow runs once for each image. You can add up to 100 images.

Batch Input node

To add images, click Upload More on the node and choose a source:

  • Upload File: pick files from your computer
  • Paste: paste an image you've copied
  • Upload from Phone: add photos from your phone via QR code
  • Add from Library: choose images from your Caimera Library
  • More: import from Google Drive or Dropbox (Shopify coming soon)

Tip: Rename each Batch Input by what it holds (⋯ then Rename). If a workflow uses several, names such as "model", "poses" and "garments" make prompts much easier to read.

Prompt node

A Prompt node holds text that connected nodes will use. Write your instructions once and connect the Prompt node to several nodes, so you don't repeat the same text in each prompt box.

Input image guidelines

The quality of your results depends on the images you upload. For best results:

  • Use clear, well-lit images with the product in focus.
  • Include only one product per image.
  • Upload the highest-resolution image available to keep fine detail.
  • Keep framing and angles consistent across a batch for more uniform results.
  • Avoid blurry, heavily compressed or pixelated images.

Image requirements

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP or SVG
  • Minimum resolution: 512 × 512 pixels
  • Recommended resolution: 1500 px or larger, to preserve product details and improve editing quality

FAQs

  1. Can I use an Image node and a Batch Input in the same workflow?

Yes. A common setup is a Batch Input for your products plus an Image node for something that stays the same, such as a model or a print swatch.

  1. Can I import images from Dropbox?

Yes. Connect your Dropbox account to Caimera, then choose More → Dropbox when adding images.
