Introduction to Workflows

What is Workflows?

Workflows is Caimera’s infinite canvas for building your own AI image pipelines. Chain nodes together to generate and edit product imagery in bulk.

Build a pipeline once (for example, upload products → turn them into ghost mannequin shots → place them on a white background), then run it on one image or hundreds. Your assets, tools and results stay on one canvas, so you can see every step, rerun any part and reuse the setup for your next drop.

Workflows

Single tools such as Editorial Images, Catalog Images, Sketch to Image, Print Designer and Recolor are still the best place to experiment. Once you know which steps work, build them into a workflow so you can repeat them.

Use a single tool when…

Use Workflows when…

You need one image or a handful of variations

You're processing many images at once (up to 100 per batch)

The job is a single step (e.g. recolor one product)

The job takes several steps in a fixed order (e.g. extract print → make it repeat → apply to garment)

You're exploring or experimenting

You want a repeatable process you can reuse every season or drop

You want guided templates and presets

You want to combine several tools and control the output of each step

How Workflows works: nodes, connections and runs

A workflow has three parts:

  • Nodes — the building blocks. A node is either an input (your images or a prompt) or a tool that changes an image (edit, upscale, recolor, add a background and so on).

  • Connections — lines that pass one node's result into the next. Inputs enter on the left side of a node, and results leave from the right.

  • Runs — running a node processes it. Run one node on its own to test it, or click Run All to run every node.

To run the same workflow on many images, use a Batch Input node. The workflow runs once for each image.

Run option

What it does

When to use it

Run All

Runs all connected nodes on the canvas.

Use when your workflow is ready and you want to run all of it.

Single Run

Runs one node using its connected inputs and settings.

Use when you want to test or rerun one step without running the whole workflow.

Batch Run

Runs the workflow once for each image in your Batch Input.

Use with a Batch Input node to process many products together.

Where to find Workflows

Open Workflows from the left navigation rail, or go to app.caimera.ai/workflows.

The Workflows page lists the workflows in your workspace. Each card shows a preview of its nodes, its latest results, who created it and when it was last edited. Use Search and the Created by filter to find one, or click Create Workflow to start a new one.

FAQs

  1. Do I need any technical skills to build a workflow?

No. You build a workflow by picking nodes from a menu and connecting them. Each node has the same kind of settings you already use in Caimera's tools.

  1. Does building a workflow use credits?

No. Adding, connecting and saving nodes is free. Credits are used only when a node generates an image. Each node's Run button shows its cost, and Run All shows the total.

  1. Can my teammates see my workflows?

The Workflows page shows workflows from everyone in your workspace, and the Created by filter lets you find a teammate's work. [CONFIRM: who can edit a teammate's workflow]
