Use Caimera Workflows from Claude or ChatGPT

You can connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant that supports MCP connectors to your Caimera workspace. The assistant can then build and edit workflows, run them on your images and bring the results back into the chat.

Who can use it: workspaces on the Pro and Enterprise plans. Any member can turn it on.

Turn it on

  1. Open Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Turn on Allow AI assistant connections.

Connect Claude

  1. In Caimera, open Workflows, click Use with Claude or ChatGPT and copy the link.
  2. In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Caimera, paste the link and click Add.
  4. Click Connect, then Allow on the Caimera page that opens.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Copy the link the same way.
  2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and click the + button.
  3. Choose to add a custom MCP server, name it Caimera and paste the link.
  4. When asked how to sign in, choose OAuth, then click Allow on the Caimera page that opens.

Adding your own connector in ChatGPT may need a paid ChatGPT plan or permission from your ChatGPT workspace admin. Menu names can differ slightly.

Other assistants: the Other assistants tab in the same window has a message you can paste into any AI assistant that supports MCP connectors.

When you approve, the assistant acts as you in your current workspace. You can disconnect it any time from Settings, Integrations.

What the assistant can do

  • List and open your workflows
  • Create a new workflow or change an existing one. Changes show up live on the canvas, and every edit is saved as a version you can restore.
  • Estimate the credit cost of a run
  • Run a workflow on images you share or link, and show you the results

Credits

Runs started from an AI assistant use your workspace credits and count toward your personal credit limit. Unlimited generations apply only to images you create directly in the Caimera app. Every run started from Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant is charged like a Workflow batch run, at least 1 credit per image.

Troubleshooting

  • "AI assistant connections are turned off for this workspace": a member needs to turn them on in Settings, Integrations.
  • "AI assistant connections are available on the Caimera Pro plan and above": upgrade the workspace to Pro or Enterprise.
  • The assistant asks you to reconnect: your connection expired or was disconnected. Remove and add the Caimera connector again.
