How to Collaborate Across Your Team Using Image Comments on Caimera

Caimera’s built-in commenting tool makes team collaboration seamless. By adding feedback directly to images, you can track revisions, notify teammates, and keep discussions organized without leaving your workspace.

While the steps below use the Editorial tool as an example, this feature is available across all Caimera tools, including Sketch to Image and Extract Product.

Step 1: Open the Editorial tool (or any other image tool in your workspace).

Step 1: Launch the Editorial tool or any image tool from your dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the History section on the right panel and select the image you wish to review.

Step 2: Select your target image from the History tab in the right-hand panel.

Step 3: Click the Add Comment button located on the lower-left panel.

Step 3: Locate and click the Add Comment button on the bottom left.

Step 4: Click anywhere on the image to drop a pin. A comment box will appear at that exact spot.

Step 4: Tap anywhere on the image to place a feedback pin.

Step 5: Type your feedback (e.g., "Change the hair color" or "Adjust lighting") into the text box.

Step 6: Click Post to submit. You can click the X icon to close the input box. Your comment will remain tagged to the image.

Step 5 & 6: Type your note and hit Post to tag it permanently to the image.

Step 7: The image creator and project collaborators will automatically receive an email notification regarding your feedback.

Step 8: To quickly check for existing feedback, simply hover over the Comments pin to see a summary of notes.

Step 7 & 8: View existing feedback instantly by hovering over the Comments button.

Step 9: To view comments later, return to the History section. Images with active feedback will display a small comment icon at the bottom, making them easy to identify at a glance.

Step 9: Spot commented images easily in your History via the small message icon.

Step 10: Within your layers, any image section with feedback will show a comment icon. Hover over it to read specific notes instantly.
