API Access: Which Tools and Plans Support It

Which plans include API access

API Access is included on the Pro plan and on Enterprise. It is not part of the Free, Mini or Starter plans.

To use the API, upgrade to the Pro plan from Settings → Billing or Pricing Page, or request a demo for Enterprise.

What you can call

The public API exposes Caimera's generation tools as endpoints. Calls are billed in credits from your workspace balance exactly as in-app generations are, and every response tells you what it cost.

Sketch to Image — POST /api/v1/inference/sketch-to-image

Inputs: file_base64 (base64-encoded file contents) and file_type, accepting image/png, image/jpeg, image/webp, image/gif, image/svg+xml, application/pdf, application/postscript, application/illustrator and image/vnd.dxf.
Output style: output_style accepts flat-lay, ghost-mannequin or general-product.
Multi-page files: a multi-page PDF returns one entry per page in the prompts array, capped at 20 pages. Each page is billed as a separate generation, and the whole upload is rejected up front if your balance won't cover pages × per-page cost — so you're never partially charged.
Response: a prompts array plus credits_charged and credits_remaining. The legacy top-level result_url and id still point to page 1, so existing integrations keep working.

Extract Product (Ghost Mannequin / Flat Lay) — the model is selectable via the API, including Pro as a fallback to the default Max Model.

Vector files (SVG, AI, PDF, DXF) are rasterised server-side to a 300 DPI PNG before generation. SVGs containing scripts, inline event handlers, javascript: URLs, <foreignObject>, <iframe> or external entity references are rejected with a clear error, and the raw vector file is never stored.

API access vs integrations

These are different things, and only the first needs a Pro plan:

API access — you write code against Caimera's endpoints. Pro and Enterprise only.
Storage and DAM integrations — send finished assets straight to Google Drive, Bynder or GlobalEdit from any Download button. Available without API access.
Commerce and social connections — Shopify and Bynder tabs in your Library, and Pinterest and Instagram connections on the Social page.
