Bynder Integration & Setup


Using the Bynder Integration


Connect your Bynder portal to Caimera to save finished generations straight into your DAM and pull existing brand assets into your projects — no manual downloads or re-uploads.


Connecting Bynder


You'll need a Bynder OAuth app registered in your own portal (your Bynder admin can create one). Have these three details ready before you start:


  • Portal domain — your Bynder address, e.g. yourbrand.bynder.com
  • Client ID — from your portal's OAuth app
  • Client Secret — from your portal's OAuth app


To connect:


  1. Open Integrations and select Bynder.
  2. Enter your portal domain, Client ID, and Client Secret.
  3. Click Connect — you'll be taken to your Bynder portal to authorize access.
  4. Approve the request. You'll be redirected back to Caimera and the integration will show as Connected.


Caimera stores your credentials securely and refreshes access automatically, so you only connect once.


Saving Generations to Bynder


  1. Open any generation, or select multiple in a bulk view.
  2. Click Save to Bynder.
  3. Choose the format you want (SVG, TIFF, PSD, JPEG, or PNG).
  4. The asset is uploaded to your default brand and appears in your Bynder library, tagged with its product details so it's easy to find.


When you save several at once, each asset uploads independently — if one fails, the rest still go through.


Supported Formats


  • PNG / JPEG — standard raster images, with adjustable quality
  • TIFF — print-ready, with LZW compression and print DPI applied
  • PSD — layered file for further editing
  • SVG — scalable vector output


Importing Assets from Bynder


  1. Where you'd normally upload an image, choose Bynder.
  2. Log in to your portal in the picker and browse or search your assets.
  3. Select an asset to bring it into Caimera.


Troubleshooting


"Reconnect Bynder" message — your authorization has expired or was revoked in your portal. Go back to Integrations > Bynder and reconnect.


Upload fails or no brand found — make sure your OAuth app has asset:read, asset:write, and offline access, and that your portal has at least one brand available.


Can't see the Bynder option — the integration may not be enabled for your workspace yet. Reach out to support and we'll switch it on.
