How History Works Across Different Tools on Caimera

Every image and video you generate on Caimera is automatically saved to your history, so you never have to worry about losing a creation. This guide walks you through where to find your history, how to filter it, and how to save or manage generations, whether you want to see everything you've ever made or just the output from one specific tool.

Caimera gives you two ways to browse your history:

  1. Library – a single place to see every generation across all tools.
  2. The History panel inside each tool – a filtered view scoped to the tool (or group of tools) you're working in.

1. View Your Complete History in the Library Tool

If you want a bird's-eye view of everything you've generated in Caimera, head to Library from the Left-hand sidebar.

Library Tool

Here you'll find every generation you've made, and you can narrow it down using the filters at the top:

  • All time – filter by Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 90 days.
  • All users – see generations from a specific teammate.
  • All Types – view generations from just one tool, like Editorial or Sketch to Image.
  • Saved only – tick this to show only the generations you've marked as favorites.

💡 Tip: Use the Saved only checkbox any time you just want to revisit your favorites instead of scrolling through your entire history. Once you have located your assets here, you can easily learn how to select and manage your generations in bulk to clean up your workspace or export multiple files at once.

2. View History Within Individual Tool Workflows

In addition to the complete history available in Library, Caimera provides separate History views across different tool workflows.
These tool-specific histories make it easier to find generations related to the workflow you're currently working in without having to search through your entire Library.

Marketing Tools

Filter History Inside the Editorial Images Tool

Tools like Editorial Images have their own History panel on the right-hand side of the workspace, showing every generation made in that tool.

You can narrow this list down using:

  • Product – filter by a specific product ID.

  • Brand – filter by the brand you were working on.

The VooDoo video tool has its own History panel on right, where you can access previous video generations.

Scroll through your previous projects to view their current status, such as Storyboard ready or Ready.

You can also:

  • Search by project name.
  • Filter by creator.
  • Select Saved to view only videos you've saved to your favorites.
  • Expand or collapse the History panel using the ⤢ icon.

History in the Catalog Images Tool

The Catalog Images tool organizes history differently. Instead of displaying generations in a scrolling feed, your generations are grouped into jobs.

Each job includes information such as its:

  • Status – for example, Draft or Completed.
  • Thumbnail preview
  • Creation date

You can find specific jobs using:

  • Search – Search by job name or Job ID.
  • Status – Use the first dropdown to filter by job status.
  • Creator – Use the All creators dropdown to filter by team member.

Design Tools

Design tools such as Upload & Edit, Create from Scratch, Sketch to Image, Print Designer, Recolor and Ghost Mannequin / Flat Lay share a combined History panel because they are part of the same Editor.

This allows you to view generations from multiple Design tools in one place. Switching tools starts you with a fresh canvas; selecting a generation from History reopens it in the tool that made it.

To narrow down your results, use:

  • Filter by tool type – Select a specific tool, such as Recolor or Sketch to Image, or leave the filter unchanged to view generations across the Design workflow.

  • Creator – Filter by the team member who created the generation.
  • Saved – Show only generations that have been saved to favorites.
