How to Add Custom Models on Caimera

Custom models let you lock in a consistent face and look across all your Caimera images, so every lifestyle campaign, PDP, and lookbook feels on-brand.

You can use the same model for different products, poses, and backgrounds without retraining or starting from scratch each time.

You can create and add your custom models on Caimera on the Pro and Enterprise Plans.

Teams typically add custom models when they:

  • Want a signature brand/model that repeats across campaigns and catalogs for stronger storytelling.
  • Need to match a real-world model, ambassador, or house model they already use in shoots, at a fraction of production time.
  • Are scaling content (seasonal drops, marketplaces, ads) and need fast, high-volume visuals that still look like “them,” not generic AI.
  • Must keep assets private and compliant, with models that are only visible inside their own workspace.

You can either create a model on Caimera or upload an existing model that you have.

Use your custom models across Editorial, Flat-lay to Catalog, and video generations. Custom models are designed for high product and model accuracy across different types of images, and are typically ready to use in about a minute.

For best results, upload a close up shot image of the model that is cropped till the model's waist.

Step 8: Give the model a name and select the model's gender from the drop down. Click 'Next'

Step 10: Review the uploaded images and read through the compliances of uploading the images

Step 12: Tick mark all compliances and click 'Create Your Models'. Your custom model will be added to your workspace exclusively.

The custom models you add or create will not be available for public use on any other workspaces.

When a model is selected from the 'Consistent Model selection tool', you'll see the model image at the bottom under 'Create New Image'

Step 13: The added custom model will be selected and you can check your selection by clicking on 'Create New imgae' and clicking on the Model image.

To ensure consistent and accurate models when a model has been selected, ensure that the Model prompt doesn't have prompts/keywords describing any other models. Remove any keywords that will conflict with the selected model.

Step 14: To generate images with the selected model, edit your 'Model prompt' to include '$model' in the prompt and click 'create'.

Once the model is selected, you can generate images of different products using the same model, in any background, setting, pose.

Your custom models are now ready to use on the Editorial and Flatlay to Catalog tools. Custom models cannot be used on the Model Background swap tool.
