Yes absolutely, you can do it in a couple of ways -

You can use prompting to describe the kind of outfit you want. Example - "A one shoulder dress with cutouts on the waist"
You can use a reference image to generate a garment in that direction, just how you moodboard.
You can try several different "seeds" in the app to get a variety of designs.

What kinds of texture and prints are supported on Fluid?

Supported Fluid Categories

Garment is built and focused on garment and apparel categories. It works well for solids, large prints and placement prints. Fine detailed prints, ribbed textures, denim may not work the best. We recommend using click for these types of products. Read more about types of garments supported here

Shoes, Bags and Accessories

These products also work well in Fluid, but have similar limitations with regards to texture and very fine print. Additionally keep in mind, if that the accessories constitute a very small part of the image. eg a very distant photo of shoes, the AI will have difficulty recreating it with enough detail.

Jewellery and Cosmetics

Jewellery and cosmetics are not supported with Fluid. We recommend using Click.

Cars, Appliances and Others

These categories with rigid body types also work fairly well. Draw a larger mask using the Try-On Tool to give the AI more freedom to generate. The size/perspective of the product will need to be estimated by the user.

Fluid

This method uses a combination of product training and try-on technology to inpainting techniques to “paste” or overlay a garment onto a photograph of an existing model. By analyzing the contours and features of the input image, the AI adjusts the garment to fit the model’s pose and body shape.

Pros:

Speed: Results can be generated quickly, making it ideal for high-volume use cases.
Single Input Image: Requires only one image to perform the try-on.
No need for photoshoot: Works from flatlays, hence allowing brands to skip the physical photoshoot process altogether.

Cons:

Product Accuracy: Struggles with intricate garment details, such as complicated prints or textures, which may not be faithfully reproduced.

Click

This technique uses foundation models in conjunction with controlnet or inpainting capabilities to modify the background or swap the model while preserving the garment’s original fit and appearance. This is ideal for enhancing photoshoot versatility without reshooting.

Pros:

Product Accuracy: Ensures that the garment’s features remain intact and true-to-life.
Single Input Image: Requires only one well-shot image of the garment to perform transformations.

Input image guidelines for Fluid

To ensure the best possible results for your, here are some guidelines when adding your products:

Number of input images: A minimum of three images showcasing a variety of poses. This allows you to select the pose that most closely matches your own for the try-on.
Lighting: Bright, even lighting is essential. Use either studio lighting or outdoor lighting with a high-contrast or white backdrop.
Resolution: Images must be at least 1K resolution.
Garment preparation: The garment should be well-ironed and styled as you'd like it to appear in the final output (e.g., tucked in or out, paired with desired pants you want in the output).
Hand placement: For model or mannequin shots, hands should be kept at the sides and not on top of the garment.
Acceptable image types: Mannequin shots, model shots, and flat lays are all acceptable, provided that garment details are clear in the flat lay images. (For example, a strappy dress on the floor may not be clear, as the placement of the straps would be ambiguous).
