Create consistent models on Caimera

In this tutorial, you'll learn how to generate consistent models on Caimera and apply the same face across different images.

Steps to Maintain Model Consistency

Step 1: Start by generating a model on Caimera that you like.

Ensure that the image you want to use for face swap on other images is always a front view of the model's face.

Step 2: Upscale your image and save it on your desktop using the Download button.

You can choose to download the image as a .png or .jpg file.

Step 3: Crop the downloaded image to crop it into a square size, ensuring only the face up to shoulder length is visible.

Step 4: Use the Consistent Mode of generating images

Each AI-generated image is influenced by a seed, a numerical value that determines the composition and guides the AI model to produce a specific image from a given prompt. If you find a model and image composition you like, use the Consistent mode from that point onwards to maintain consistency across subsequent images. Learn more about seeds here.

Click on 'Consistent' in the Mode selection> Click "Shoot" button to keep the same seed.

Step 5: Generate different angles of the model. Ensure that the model prompt remains consistent to retain facial features and styling. To generate different angles of a model, just add to the beginning of the model prompt the angle you want. For example, if you have generated a front view and want to generate a side view of the same model, just prompt "3/4th side profile view of..."

If the pose doesn't change considerably using the Consistent Mode, you can generate the images using the Re-imagine button. The composition of the image will change with the Re-imagine Mode but the face can still be swapped if the model prompt is consistent with the first image generated.

Step 6: Click 'Shoot' to generate images.

Step 10: Draw a mask on the face to specify the face area.

Step 11: Test which of the 3 Face Edit Mode intensities- Balanced, Minimal and Maximum works best for the face on the image. Once the mask is drawn and the face reference image has been uploaded, you can easily apply all 3 Face edit modes without re-drawing the mask or re-uploading the image.
