# How to Use the Sketch to Image tool

The Sketch to Image tool converts sketches, CAD files or 3D drawings into realistic product images on models. This guide shows you how to transform your design sketches into professional fashion photography.

**Step 1:** Navigate to Sketch to Image tool in Caimera (under **Editor** in the Design section) and Upload Your Sketches. This tool can convert sketches into product images in bulk. 

Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF, PDF, AI, DXF, SVG

Minimum resolution: 768px

Maximum files: 100 images

**Step 2:** Add Material Description (Optional)
After uploading, you can specify the material type to improve accuracy (e.g., "blue velvet"). This helps the AI render the correct texture and appearance. You can also upload a reference material image, and choose a **product output style** (for example on-model or flat product shot).

**Step 3:** Select Model Type
Choose the model quality level based on your needs:

| **Feature / Detail** | **Pro (v1)** | **Max (v2)** |
| **Primary Use Case** | Quick previews & standard quality | High quality & better detail accuracy |
| **Speed & Cost** | Much quicker and cheaper | Takes slightly longer to load, slightly more expensive |
| **Sketch to Image: 2K** | 2 credits per image | 5 credits per image |
| **Sketch to Image: 4K** | 4 credits per image | 6 credits per image |
| **Edits** | Unlimited on Fast 1K (Starter and Pro plans) | Unlimited on Fast 1K (Starter and Pro plans) |

**Step 4:** Click the **Generate** button to create your image. The AI will process your sketch and create a realistic product image.

**Step 5:** Review Results
Your generated images appear in the right panel, showing: The sketch transformed into a photorealistic garment

**Step 6:** Edit using the Edit this Image section at the bottom, write the prompt describing your edit and click on "Edit" button. You can view all of your layers on Right.
