# How to Edit Images Using the Draw and Edit Tool in Caimera

If you have an image you almost love but want to fine-tune to add or change details like styling, hair, face, shoes, text or even the product itself. Caimera’s Draw & Edit tool makes it easy to get to 100% perfection.

This feature lets you edit specific parts of your image with precision, helping you make targeted improvements without affecting the rest of the visual.

### Everything You Can Do with the Draw & Edit Tool

The Draw & Edit feature is designed for flexibility and control. Here are some common ways you can use it:

* **Remove unwanted elements**: Add elements, clean up backgrounds by removing distractions or unnecessary objects.
* **Add accessories:** Place items like hoop earrings, bags, or sunglasses exactly where you want them.
* **Use reference images:** Upload a reference image to guide the edit and match your desired output.
* **Modify clothing details:** Cover slits, increase or reduce garment length.
* **Style products together:** Combine multiple elements into a cohesive look.
* **Swap faces or models:** Easily replace faces or entire models within your image.
* **Add text and overlays:** Include buttons, labels, or design elements for marketing creatives.

### **How to Use the Draw & Edit Tool**

**Step 1:** Open your generated image in Caimera.

**Step 2:** Select the **edit image** option at the bottom and click the squiggly **pen tool** icon next to the “+” button.

**Step 3:** Draw directly over the area you want to edit create a circle or shape to highlight the region.

**Step 4:** Add an instructional **prompt** describing the change you want within that exact area. For more precise results, you can also upload a reference image of the element you want to change using the “+” button.

**Step 5:** Once you're done, click on the **Edit** button to apply your changes. Caimera will generate a new image layer with your edits in place.
